Ecuador International Field Placements Opportunities

Welcome to the Dominican University Graduate School of Social Work International Field Placements Opportunities Wiki. The goal of this wiki is to provide descriptions of international field placements as well as documenting the stories that our current students have to tell. Each page has information about the various international field placements and resources including in-country libraries and universities.

Global social work practice within social work seeks to ensure decent conditions for human growth and development, human rights, social justice and social action, to improve the social and overall well-being of people through sustainable development around the world, and is applied at all levels of practice, at all levels of government and across geopolitical borders and at all levels of social and economic organizations.

Please click on one of the regions below to learn more about the social work agencies and various projects and to read some of the experiences that our students have had.

If you add a new topic, please add it to this list on the main page so people can easily find it.

You can easily add a new page by creating a wiki link with the title of the page like  Car Transport
you want to create on the front page. Then, when you click on that link, you will be taken to a new page that you can add to.

Hi Chris
Rich and I met tonight. I got the picture of a map for the front page. Where I have trouble is that when I go to put up a new page, the picture won't change for the individual page... also it looks as though the pictures have to be on the web in order for them to work. Hopefully you can help with this.

Also Rich and I thought it might be good idea to meet on Wednesday Night and work on this ONLINE.. How about at 6 PM

Hi guys:
I hope it is OK but our wiki is going to go live with my social work students on Monday at 4PM in Crown 111. I have been working with Molly Beestrum from the library and we will be adding the libraries that the students will be affiliated with when they are abroad. I hope this new information is OK to add. I have given Molly the password in case she wants to add to the wiki. Let me know if you have a problem with this.

If this is for the students during the Spring 2008, then I do not have a problem with it. I am a little confused because the date shows for November 16th that is all.
